Tournament Overview

What is a Tournament?

A Texas Hold'em tournament is a structured poker event where players compete at physical tables using chips allocated at entry. The chips are used solely for table play and have no external value. Players are eliminated when they run out of chips, and the last remaining player is the tournament winner.

Tournament Structure

Blind Levels

Blinds increase at regular intervals to ensure the tournament progresses at a steady pace. Levels typically last 15-20 minutes, starting low and escalating. The structure is designed for a 3-4 hour tournament.

Starting Chips

Each player receives an equal allocation of chips at the start, with no additional chips available. The allocation is fixed, with no re-buys or add-ons, ensuring fair play for everyone.

Elimination

Players are eliminated when they lose all their chips, and tables are consolidated as the field shrinks. Tables merge as players are eliminated, and the final table determines the winner. Chips have no cash value.

Card Room Atmosphere

Nocturnal Ambience

The card room is designed to evoke a high roller underground club, with dim lighting, neon accents, and focused energy. Pitch-dark surfaces with deep purple blocks, neon fuchsia and toxic-lime highlights, and a flash-lit photography aesthetic create an immersive environment.

Table Dynamics

Professional dealers manage the game, and the room maintains a serious yet welcoming atmosphere. Experienced dealers, a respectful play environment, and a setting suitable for both novices and regulars keep every table moving smoothly.
